Loos & Co, Inc. spendet Weihnachtsschinken an St. Vincent De Paul Place

12/20/2021 Pomfret, CT, December 20, 2021— Loos & Co., Inc. helps feed the hungry this holiday season.

This week, Loos & Company delivered a truckload of hams to St. Vincent de Paul Place in Norwich, CT.

Each year, Loos & Co. employees are gifted holiday hams in the week leading up to Christmas. Some employees elect to donate their ham, and the surplus is brought to St. Vincent where it is shared with the community.

“I was really excited to receive my first Loos holiday ham after joining the team this year,” said Claire Galvin, Marketing Assistant. “When I learned that all extra hams are donated to local food pantries in need, I was even more impressed. It’s comforting to know that a few more people in our community will tuck in to a good meal this holiday season, thanks to Loos & Company.”

Twenty-three hams were donated this season. Our annual contribution allows St. Vincent de Paul Place (SVdPP) to serve high-quality food to those struggling with unemployment, disabilities, addiction, and other socioeconomic hardships.

SVdPP was founded in 1979 to meet the basic needs of the poor and homeless in Norwich and the surrounding region. Staff and volunteers connect clients to food, hygiene supplies, social services and more.
